If I sell to everyone and anyone who wants to buy my product i will make more money. Wrong!

The cost to sell to everyone is astronomical if not impossible and i will tell you why. Think of it this way. All customers speak a different language. Now how do you market a business in multiple different languages if you want to sell to everyone? Well the message would have to be general right? So, I sell pizza to anyone who is hungry. This is what most businesses say in there marketing messages.

Now it makes more sense to pick a language and market those messages to those who understand what I’m saying. The benefit for speaking to one language is now i know more about the wants needs and desires of those customers, which make it easier to create messages that your market understands. So instead of trying to sell to all languages I would pick one and only market to those who speak the same lingo.

Start by choosing one language or customer you want to do business with and provide them the solution in the language they already understand. Its that simple. This will make your business stand out from the crowd because you will be attracting the market your going after.

When messages are to general no one listens to them because they all sound the same. You see the brain deletes sameness and sorts for difference. By choosing to market to a specific person will make your business stand apart and sound different that anyone else, therefore the return of your investment from your marketing will be much higher.
